Adam Hoffmann, CFP®, AIF® began their work experience at Carlson Capital Management in 2005 as a Portfolio Analyst. From 2005 to 2008, they worked in this role where they gained experience in portfolio analysis. In 2009, Adam transitioned into the role of Chief Investment Officer at Carlson Capital Management. As Chief Investment Officer, they lead the investment team, oversees trading, investment research, portfolio design, and technology support for investment applications. Adam is also responsible for analyzing new and existing client portfolios, communicating the firm's investment philosophy and approach through writing and client interactions, and representing the firm with strategic partnerships in the investment community. Additionally, they serve as a member of the CCM investment committee and the Zero Alpha Group investment committee.
Adam Hoffmann, CFP®, AIF®, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance with a minor in Business Administration from Augsburg University between 2001 and 2005. In 2007, they completed the CFP® Certification Professional Education Program at the College for Financial Planning, obtaining a CFP® Educational Certificate. Two additional certifications were obtained by Adam. In 2009, they became a Certified Financial Planner through the CFP Board of Standards, and in 2017, they earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation from Fi360.
