Sarah Laing

Sarah Laing is an accomplished brewing and engineering professional with extensive experience in the beverage industry. Currently serving as the Head Brewer at Abbotsford Brewery since August 2015, Sarah has held various leadership roles at Carlton & United Breweries, including Associate Director of Brewing & Quality and Capital Project Manager. With a strong background in water management and process engineering, Sarah has also worked for the International Water Centre and Veolia Water Australia. Sarah's career began at The Dow Chemical Company, where expertise in process improvement was developed. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Diploma of Integrated Water Management from The University of Queensland, a Diploma of Brewing from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from UNSW.
