Florian Pasquier

Florian Pasquier's work experience includes a role as Chief Technology Officer at Carma, starting in October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Quantium from 2014 to 2021, holding various positions such as Executive Engineering and Executive Manager for Engineering. Within Quantium, Florian also served as a Team Leader, overseeing the delivery of the Retail flagship product Q. Checkout and leading a team of 15 across Sydney and India.

Before joining Quantium, Florian worked at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking - SGCIB as a Senior Consultant from 2013 to 2014. In this role, they focused on strategic developments, performance troubleshooting, and resiliency improvement on a big data risk monitoring platform.

Additionally, Florian co-founded ETP Datasystems in 2010 and served as its Chief Technology Officer until 2014. In this capacity, they contributed to the development of ETP Datasystems as a dynamic referential for retail listed products in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

Furthermore, Florian worked at BNP PARIBAS CIB from 2005 to 2010 as the Rapid Application Development Team Manager. Florian was responsible for overseeing a team that provided traders with a reliable tool suite to ensure the quality of their market making operations.

Florian's earlier work experience includes a role as a Web Developer at AGRICOLE INVESTOR SERVICES from 2004 to 2005.

Florian Pasquier earned a Master's Degree in Information Technology from ISEP - école d'ingénieurs du numérique in the years 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2004, Florian also obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Information technologies and MicroElectronic from ISEP. In addition, Florian received several certifications, including "Functional Program Design in Scala" and "Functional Programming Principles in Scala," from Coursera Course Certificates in November and December of 2016.
