Richard Cuddihy has a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience working for various organizations. Richard is currently the Head of Revenue & Analytics at Carne Group since 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Financial Controller at Waterford Area Partnership from 2018 to 2019, where they were responsible for managing accounting system upgrades and developing financial regulations. Richard also served as a Finance Specialist at the United Nations Population Fund from 2010 to 2018, where they controlled a €200 million annual budget and oversaw financial inventory. Richard was also the Finance Manager at the International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims in 2010 and spent a decade as the Area Finance Manager at Concern Worldwide from 2000 to 2010, overseeing financial operations in multiple country offices. Richard began their career as a Financial Accountant at Canada Life in 1999 and worked as a Supervisor Accountant at Deutsche Bank from 1994 to 1999.
Richard Cuddihy earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance, General from the University of Leicester from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained an ACMA degree in Accounting and Finance from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants from 1990 to 1996. Richard also holds additional certifications, which include "How to Make Strategic Thinking a Habit" from LinkedIn in 2020 and "Chartered Management Account (CIMA)" from CIMA in 1997.
