Mathieu Cocho

Mathieu Cocho is a Senior Engineer and Data Analyst at Carnegie Clean Energy since April 2015, with a background in managing complex work packages and mentoring junior engineers. Expertise includes analyzing operational and metocean data, training Neural-Net predictive models, and designing data pipelines for analysis. Mathieu has designed three international wave tank testing campaigns and has experience managing the design of mechanical components with international suppliers. Prior roles include Certification Engineer and Project Manager at DNV GL, where Mathieu managed wave and tidal certification projects and contributed to the first industry standard for Horizontal Axis Tidal Turbine. Early career experiences include developing a time and frequency model for a wave energy converter at Carnegie Wave Energy and conducting research on wave runup at the University of Queensland. Mathieu holds a Master of Engineering in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Centrale Nantes.
