Jeffrey McCausland

Jeffrey McCausland is a Professor of International Security at Dickinson College since August 2010, specializing in American national security policy and leadership development. McCausland founded Diamond6 Leadership and Strategy, LLC in 2009, focusing on developing strategic leaders, and has held roles as Senior Fellow at Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs and Adjunct Fellow at RAND Corporation since 2006 and 2005 respectively. As a National Security Consultant for CBS Radio and Television, McCausland provides expert analysis on various global conflicts. McCausland served as Distinguished Visiting Professor of Research at the Strategic Studies Institute, US Army War College from 2010 to 2015, and has held visiting professorships at Penn State University and the United States Army. A retired Colonel from the US Army, McCausland concluded active duty in 2002 as Dean of Academics at the US Army War College. Jeffrey holds a Ph.D. from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a Bachelor's degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
