Lakshmee Vinayak Sharma

Lakshmee Vinayak Sharma currently serves as a Senior Research Analyst at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace since October 2023. Previously, Lakshmee worked as a Graduate Analyst for Digital Planet at The Institute for Business in the Global Context (IBGC) from November 2021 to August 2023, and held roles as a Research Assistant at The Governance Lab and a Research Associate at Decodis, where significant projects included exploring digital privacy perceptions in developing countries and developing research proposals for the World Bank on climate-vulnerable populations. Prior experience includes a Senior Associate position at Aapti Institute, where a strategy for tech adoption in India was developed, and consulting roles at Tata Centre for Development and the Indian Institute for Human Settlements, focusing on urban housing policies and the digital economy.
