Ross Pedersen is a postdoctoral associate at the Carnegie Institution for Science since January 2020, focusing on the regulation of nuclear lamin filament assembly and disassembly in spatial and temporal contexts under the supervision of Yixian Zheng. Prior to this role, Ross was a PhD student at the University of California, Berkeley from 2013 to October 2019, where research concentrated on the mechanisms of force generation and assembly involved in clathrin-mediated endocytosis in the labs of David Drubin and Georjana Barnes. Ross also gained research experience as an undergraduate fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from September 2010 to August 2013, having earned a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology in 2013 before obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
