Alyssa Velazquez

Alyssa Velazquez is currently a board member at Pittsburgh Glass Center and a member of AAMC Foundation - Art Curators. Alyssa also held positions such as Assistant Curator at Carnegie Museum of Art and Storyteller at The City of Pittsburgh. Velazquez was a Freshworks Resident at Kelly Strayhorn Theater where Alyssa presented a play on Latinx family building. With a background in journalism and curatorial work, Velazquez has a Master of Arts in Material Culture from Bard Graduate Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and History from Washington College.
