Cynthia Stucki

Curatorial Assistant For Contemporary Art And Photography at Carnegie Museum of Art

Cynthia Stucki is a Curatorial Assistant for Contemporary Art and Photography at the Carnegie Museum of Art since December 2022. As the Founder and Artistic Director of the Kunstlokal Festival since September 2021, Cynthia has a strong background in curatorial and artistic roles. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Assistant for the artists-in-labs program from February to December 2020, a Registrar and Gallery Assistant at Gavlak Gallery from October 2018 to August 2019, and Gallery Coordinator at IS Projects from August 2017 to February 2018. Additionally, Cynthia worked as a Curatorial Assistant and Museum Educator at University Galleries, FAU from May 2015 to February 2018. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Art Education with a focus on Curatorial Studies from ZHdK Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (2019-2022), a short course in Curating the Contemporary from Goldsmiths, University of London (2019), and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Florida Atlantic University (2013-2017).
