Jon Irving

Jon Irving possesses extensive experience within the art and administrative sectors, currently serving as the Manager of Exhibitions at the Carnegie Museum of Art since April 2019. Additionally, Jon operates as an Independent Visual Artist, a role sustained since November 2008. Previous positions include Executive Assistant for Operations and Finance at the Guggenheim Museum and Administrative Coordinator at Renewable Energy Trust Capital, Inc. Jon's background also includes academic roles, such as Adjunct Lecturer at SUNY New Paltz and Graduate Assistant to the Preparator at The Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art. Jon holds a Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking from SUNY New Paltz and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the University of Delaware.
