Danny Smith is an experienced environmental compliance professional with extensive expertise in environmental policy, management, strategy, and sustainability consulting. Currently serving as Environmental Compliance Manager at Carnival Corporation since July 2021, Danny previously held the position of Fleet Environmental Officer at Carnival UK, leading worldwide environmental compliance for two cruise ship fleets. Danny is also the Owner of Primarium, LLC, providing consulting services in environmental compliance and sustainability. With a robust academic background, including roles as an adjunct professor at Samford University and the Birmingham School of Law, Danny has contributed to both industry and academia, holding multiple significant positions throughout a career that spans over three decades in environmental management and engineering.
