Emily Barton REnvH MCIEH AMRSPH FPH is an accomplished public health professional currently serving as the Head of Public Health at Carnival Maritime GmbH, overseeing the management and operations of over 25 vessels within the Costa Group fleet. With extensive experience, Emily has progressed through various roles in public health, including Public Health Manager and Specialist, with a focus on managing COVID-19 responses and improving public health systems. In addition to current responsibilities, Emily serves as a Panellist & Advisor for the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and a member of the Scientific Committee for the EU Joint Action - SHIPSAN, addressing critical health issues in maritime transport. Academically, Emily is pursuing a Master's in Public Health with a concentration in Communicable Disease Prevention at The University of Manchester, complemented by a BSc in Environmental Health.
