Jesse Hardin has a range of experience in education and communication roles. Currently, Jesse serves as the Director of Education and Communications at Carolina Complete Health Network. Prior to this role, Jesse was the Head of Stakeholder Experience and a Senior Coordinator of Provider Engagement at the same company. Jesse also worked as a Coordinator of Provider Engagement at Carolina Complete Health Network. Before joining Carolina Complete Health Network, Jesse worked at Community Care of the Lower Cape Fear as a Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Coordinator and Community Resiliency Model Trainer. Jesse's work focused on increasing access to underserved populations and destigmatizing behavioral health. Jesse also led the internal Behavioral Health Integration work group at that organization. Jesse's earlier experience includes working as an HMR Health Educator at Wilmington Health Associates, where they coached patients on making lifestyle health changes. Jesse has a background in research and interned at the Health Sciences Academy and worked at the Community Research Lab at East Carolina University.
Jesse Hardin completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Studies, with a focus on Worksite Health, from East Carolina University. This education spanned from 2007 to 2011.
Afterward, Jesse pursued a Master of Arts degree in Health Education and Promotion, with a specialization in Distance Education, from East Carolina University. This program was completed between 2011 and 2012.
In addition to these degrees, Jesse obtained certifications in the Community Resiliency Model (CRM) from the Trauma Resource Institute, becoming a trainer in November 2018. Moreover, in December 2017, Jesse achieved the Patient Centered Medical Home Certified Content Expert certification from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).
