Gerard Duran Bassegoda

Gerard Duran Bassegoda is an experienced designer specializing in luxury leather goods and accessories. Currently serving as the Senior Leather Goods Designer at Carolina Herrera since July 2017, Gerard oversees the design process for men's and women's collections. Prior to this role, Gerard worked as a Fashion Designer at Planamoda, focusing on womenswear supplier client lines, and as an Accessories Designer at Stradivarius, where responsibilities included developing women's handbags and accessories, conducting market research, and collaborating with suppliers across Europe and Asia. Gerard holds an MA in Luxury Accessories Design & Management from Istituto Marangoni and a BA in Fashion Design from BAU, Centre Universitari d'Arts i Disseny, alongside ongoing studies in Cool Hunting & Trends at the University of the Arts London.
