Cynthia K Miller has over 20 years of work experience, starting as an Assistant Manager at Grand Teton Lodge Company in 1995. Cynthia K later worked as a Dining Room Supervisor at Snow King Resort and Grand View Lodge in 1996. In 1989, they became an Administrator at Keyes Management Systems and stayed there until 1998. Cynthia K then worked as a Statistical Analyst at First Union National Bank from 1998 to 1999. From 1999 to 2001, they had teaching roles as a Graduate Assistant and Instructor at Appalachian State University. At Lowe's, they worked as a Talent Management Consultant from 2001 to 2003, and then as a Senior Talent Management Consultant from 2003 to 2005. Cynthia K joined Lowe's again in 2005 as the Manager of Selection and Assessment, and later became the Manager of Talent Planning and Performance Management from 2007 to 2008. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as an HR Business Partner for Lowe's, and then became the Director of Change Management from 2012 to 2016. Currently, they are the Vice President of Human Resources at Carolina West Wireless, a position they have held since 2016.
Cynthia K Miller has a Master's degree in I/O Psychology & Human Resource Management from Appalachian State University. Cynthia K also holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Business Administration from Meredith College. In addition to their degrees, Cynthia has obtained several certifications, including the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM, Conner Partners Strategy Execution/Change Management - Approved Trainer from Conner Partners, Prosci Change Management from Prosci, Personal Resilience from Resilience Alliance, Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from HR Certification Institute - HRCI, and Situational Leadership II Facilitator from The Ken Blanchard Companies.
