Syam Sasi

Syam Sasi has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and testing. 🔉Syam is currently working at Carousell Group as a Lead Software Engineer. Previously, they worked at the same company as a Senior Software Engineer and played a significant role in improving the quality of the Seller Experience delivery team. Before joining Carousell Group, Syam co-founded Taqelah and held the position of Co-Founder. Additionally, Syam has been an active speaker at various conferences and meetups, including Selenium Conference, BrowserStack Webinar, HUSTEF, Prathidhwani Technical Forum, Vietnam QA Meetup, Taqelah Meetup, Software Testing Philippines, and Singapore Appium Meetup. These speaking engagements demonstrate their expertise in topics such as iOS testing, Ansible, Selenium Grid, and Appium.

Syam Sasi attended Government Higher Secondary School, Perumbalam from 1993 to 2003. Following this, they studied at Model Technical Higher Secondary School from 2003 to 2005, majoring in Computer Science for their plus two degree. 🔉Syam then pursued a BTech degree in Information Technology at Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Syam Sasi has obtained certifications in Foundations of Cybersecurity from Coursera and Secure Coding in Go from LinkedIn, both in 2023.
