Waheeda Samji

Waheeda Samji is an experienced professional with a diverse background in leadership and education. Currently serving as the Director at The Latham School since February 2012, Waheeda also owns Carpe Diem Ink, a position held since March 2002. Previously, Waheeda was the Chairman of the Board for Aga Khan Education Services in Tanzania from December 2006 to December 2010 and worked as an Adviser at DFID Tanzania from May 1999 to April 2002. Early in the career, Waheeda was a Program Officer at the Aga Khan Foundation Tanzania from May 1995 to December 1998. Waheeda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from McGill University, completed between 1991 and 1994, and has an educational background that includes Miss Halls School and the International School of Tanganyika.
