Chad Fargason

Chad Fargason currently serves as the Chairman of the Board at Carriage Services, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this, Fargason was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Vaughan Nelson Investment Management from April 2013 to October 2024 and worked at KKR from June 2003 to April 2013 as a Director in KKR Capstone, where responsibilities included improving the operations and profitability of portfolio companies. Fargason held the role of President of Rapid Recovery at Biomet from 2011 to 2012 and served as Senior Vice President at El Paso Corporation from June 2001 to June 2003. Earlier in the career, Fargason was a Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group from 1998 to 2001. Academically, Fargason earned a PhD in Mathematics from Duke University and a BA in Mathematics from Rice University, complemented by education at Parkview High School.
