Dave Sutherland

Dave Sutherland is a finance professional with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Finance & Controller at Carrick Therapeutics since May 2024, Dave has previously held key finance leadership roles at Catamaran Bio, including Vice President of Finance & Operations and Vice President of Finance from June 2021 to May 2024. Prior experience includes Senior Director positions in Financial Planning & Analysis at Akebia Therapeutics and finance roles at Keryx Biopharmaceuticals. Dave began a career in finance at PwC, advancing from Audit Associate to Audit Manager from August 2008 to September 2015. Education includes a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting, both from Boston College, along with studies at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
