Sakin R. Cakmakci

Sakin R. Cakmakci, PMP, PE, is an experienced Mechanical Engineer specializing in chiller product development, currently serving at Carrier HVAC since August 2014. Prior to this role, Sakin contributed to the development of water-cooled centrifugal compressor chillers at Daikin Applied Americas from June 2007 to July 2014 and focused on various chiller systems at Johnson Controls from January 1994 to May 2007. Early career positions included a teaching assistantship at Wright State University, where Sakin instructed thermodynamics and heat transfer lab classes, and engineering roles at Corning Incorporated and Versar, Inc.
