Ruminder Dhillon

Ruminder (Romi) Dhillon is a seasoned entrepreneur and venture capitalist with a focus on seed stage investments. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Carry Venture Capital since July 2022, Dhillon aims to support exceptional founders in North Carolina. Dhillon also established the Arizona Founders Fund in January 2016 to address the lack of early-stage funding in Arizona and co-founded the Sonoran Founders Fund in December 2020 to assist underrepresented entrepreneurs in the Sonoran Desert Region. Current investment roles include involvement with innovative startups such as Bristles, Rivia Health, FundMiner, Talli®, Right-Hand Cybersecurity, and Jump. Dhillon contributes to education as a mentor in the Fuqua Mentored Study Program at Duke University and holds advanced degrees from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Columbia University, and Emory University, alongside a venture capital certification from the Indian School of Business.
