Zuzel Vera

Zuzel Vera is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in full stack development and systems analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Carta since February 2018, Zuzel focuses on building products and services leveraging Carta’s ownership graph, which tracks global asset ownership. Prior experience includes roles as a Computer System Analyst at PresenceLearning, where Zuzel enhanced the billing system for improved efficiency, and as a Web & Mobile Developer at Wave, involved in developing features from prototype to launch. Additionally, Zuzel has held multiple technical lead positions with Peer2Peer University, Mozilla Foundation, and Shuttleworth Foundation, making critical decisions on technical issues related to online education. Zuzel holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Havana.
