Phil Stanford

Phil Stanford has extensive experience in the power systems industry, working for both Carter Machinery and Carolina CAT. Phil began their career at Carolina CAT in 1990, serving as a Sales Engineer for 15 years. In this role, they were responsible for outside sales of Caterpillar generator sets, with a focus on healthcare, data center, and electric utilities. Phil'sresponsibilities included influencing specifications, pricing, and contract negotiations. In 2005, they were promoted to the position of General Sales Manager - Power Systems, a role they held until 2021. In 2021, they joined Carter Machinery as a Sales Manager - Power Systems Division, and later assumed the position of Director of Sales - Power Systems Division in 2023.

Phil Stanford attended NC State University from 1984 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
