Barry Lai

Barry Lai is an experienced engineering manager with a solid background in software development and systems engineering. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager and previously as a Staff Engineer at Cartera, a Rakuten Company since August 2015, Barry has extensive experience in full-stack development, particularly in privacy-focused software applications. Prior to Cartera, Barry worked as a Software Engineer at Abine, Inc., and as a Senior Software Systems Engineer at MITRE, contributing to research and prototyping for government projects.
