Brett Thurlow has a long and distinguished work experience. Brett began their career in 2007 as a Graduate Researcher at Western University, where they studied the role of matricellular proteins in epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) during scarring. Brett then moved on to McMaster University in 2012, where they held several roles, including Teaching Assistant - Inquiry into Biochemical Techniques, Graduate Researcher, and Lead Teaching Assistant - Computational Biochemistry. In 2017, they joined NanoTemper Technologies as a Technical Sales Specialist, and was later promoted to Senior Technical Sales Specialist and Field Application Specialist. In 2023, they began working as a Sales Executive at Carterra.
Brett Thurlow earned their Honours Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMSc) from Western University in 2008, with a specialization in Medical Sciences. Brett then went on to complete their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biochemistry from the same university in 2011. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from McMaster University in 2016.
