Alexey Tukalo

Alexey Tukalo has worked in various roles throughout their career. Alexey is currently employed as a Full-stack Software Engineer at Cartken since April 2022.

Before that, they worked at Ablacon, Inc. as a Lead Front-End Engineer from March 2021 to March 2022, and previously as a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer from August 2020 to March 2021.

Prior to that, Alexey served as a Technical Lead at Luxoft from February 2019 to August 2020. In this role, they contributed to the development of in-vehicle head unit applications using Node.js and TypeScript for a Premium OEM Car Manufacturer. Alexey also managed communication with stakeholders and partners on a daily basis.

Earlier in their career, Alexey worked at Arction Ltd - LightningChart® Data Visualization Tools. Alexey held the role of Team lead from June 2017 to November 2018, where they developed a software architecture for a testable data visualization library and led a team of developers. Previously, from December 2015 to June 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer and Graphics Programmer, where they contributed to the maintenance of a C# legacy codebase and independently developed key features for future product releases.

Alexey's professional journey began with an internship as an Intern Software Developer at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) in July 2015. During this role, they focused on the visualization of multimodal 3D USCT volume images and developed innovative ways of visualizing multiple 3D or 4D volumes.

Alexey Tukalo completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Information Technologies at Savonia University of Applied Sciences from 2012 to 2016.
