Kenji Kimura has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2000. Kenji began their career as a Design and Development Engineer for Crystalaid Microelectronics (Cochlear) in 2000. In 2005, they were a Principal at Barclays Global Investors (BlackRock). From 2010 to 2014, they were a Director at UBS. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Project Manager at Fine Edge Homes. In 2017, they returned to CartonCloud as Chief Technology Officer. In 2020, they were a Vice President at State Street, where they served as a Technical Integration Specialist and IBOR Implementation Lead. Finally, in 2022, they returned to Envision Urban as Director, where they work with the latest digital design and visualisation technologies and is a distributor for AKL FlowDesigner computational fluid dynamics software for wind and thermal analysis.
Kenji Kimura's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from The University of Queensland from 1998 to 2001, a Master of Business Administration from University of Southern Queensland from 2005 to 2010, a Master of Information Technology from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2002 to 2008, and a Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) from TAFE NSW from 2013 to 2014.
