Amanda Meri

Amanda Meri, MPA, RN, FDN-P, has extensive experience in healthcare management and nursing. Recently serving as Interim Executive Director at Casa Chirilagua from February 2024 to October 2024, Amanda previously held the position of Director of Medical Services and Health Policy at Paralyzed Veterans of America from April 2018 to August 2020, where leadership ensured the health needs of veterans were met across Veterans Affairs hospitals. Earlier roles include Patient Care Manager at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, managing a team of 65 healthcare personnel, and Associate Director of Medical Services at Paralyzed Veterans of America, overseeing compliance and care delivery for spinal cord injuries. Amanda's nursing background spans multiple hospitals, along with a commitment to professional education, including a Master of Public Administration from Arkansas State University and additional certifications in nutrition and integrative health.
