Mike Tamayo has extensive experience in the tortilla industry, currently serving in Sales and Technical Solutions at Casa Herrera, Inc. since May 2016. As a Small Business Owner and Consultant at Sonoma Latina Grill LLC since January 2009, Mike has played a key role in launching business concepts through lease negotiations, collaboration with architects and contractors, and menu development. Previously, as a Consultant at Guidepoint from September 2015 to May 2016, Mike contributed to an exclusive network aiding business decision-makers. As Sr. Business Development Manager for AB Mauri North America, Mike identified and developed customer opportunities in the tortilla market. Mike's role as Director of R&D at Berber Food Manufacturing significantly increased retail sales, while earlier, as VP of R&D and BDO at La Tortilla Factory, Mike was instrumental in transforming the company into a leading innovator in the industry. Mike holds a BA in General Business from Sonoma State University and an Advanced Certification in Business Administration and Management from USC Marshall School of Business.
