Oleksii Zykin

Oleksii Zykin has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Oleksii started their career in 2006 as a Service Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent, where they were responsible for equipment installation, commissioning, and integration for 2G networks. Oleksii then moved on to ZTE in 2007, where they worked as a Service Engineer, focusing on equipment commissioning, integration, and maintenance of ZTE 3GCN MSS. Oleksii also conducted training sessions for customers and was involved in CDMA Mobile Core Test, Integration, and Support projects.

In 2008, Oleksii joined Ericsson as a Senior Service Engineer, specializing in IP BB/Mobile Packet Core Networks. Oleksii was responsible for solution architecture, IP planning, high-level and low-level design, implementation, verification, and customer support.

Oleksii transitioned to the role of a Test Environment Solution Service Engineer at Ericsson in 2013, where they continued to contribute to solution architecture and design. Oleksii also focused on implementation, verification, and customer support for future-proofed solutions.

After Ericsson, Oleksii worked for Sandvine from 2016 to 2019 as a Presales System Engineer. In this role, they identified and qualified sales opportunities, achieved revenue growth, and met quarterly targets.

Currently, Oleksii is employed at Casa Systems, Inc. as a Systems Engineering Manager for the EMEA region. Oleksii also served as a Principal Sales Engineer and a Senior Sales Engineer in the same company. In these roles, they were responsible for driving and supporting end-to-end sales cycles, delivering presentations and demonstrations (including CxO positions), representing the company at industry conferences, fairs, and events, and playing a key role in deal closure.

Oleksii Zykin obtained a Master's Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" from 2000 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Kharkiv general education school no. 62 from 1989 to 2000, focusing on English Language. Oleksii also holds various certifications from different institutions, including KVM Essentials from Linux Academy and several certifications from Cisco Systems, Ericsson Technical Certification Program, and Juniper Networks.
