Tony Vu

Tony Vu has been working in the software engineering industry since 2009. In 2010, they co-founded Clairmire Pte Ltd as a Technology Consultant. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Software Engineer at Converscient Pte Ltd and as an Application Consultant at NCS Group. From 2012 to 2018, they were a Senior Application Developer at Philip Tang & Sons Pte Ltd. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at Skyscanner, where they built various tools to automate common tasks and created a platform with NodeJS, ReactJS and microservice architecture. Since 2018, they have been a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Industrie&Co, where they built and managed multiple Spring Boot backend microservices deployed inside a Kubernetes cluster, integrated backend with third-party SOAP services and Keycloak, and enabled more flexible and thorough load testing, functional and automated testing with the introduction of a deployable mock server. Tony is currently a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at Cascade.

Tony Vu attended National University of Singapore from 2005 to 2009 and obtained an Honours Degree in Computer Science. In 2008, they attended Wuhan University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chinese language, culture, history and economy. In 2007 and 2008, they also attended UC Irvine and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
