Irene Kim is a Partner at Cascadia Partners since March 2019 and has also served as a Senior Associate. In addition to this role, Irene is an Adjunct Professor at Portland State University in the College of Urban and Public Affairs, teaching Participatory Planning since 2020 and previously the MURP Workshop from 2020 to 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Coordinator at JLA Public Involvement from June 2017 to February 2019, and as a Freelance Graphic Designer from 2012 to 2019. Irene worked as an Urban Planner at Fregonese Associates from October 2014 to June 2017, focusing on public engagement, communications, and graphic design. Earlier, Irene was an Assistant Campus Planner at Portland State University, contributing to various projects including the Annual Transportation Survey and coordinating data analysis and mapping work. Irene holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Portland State University and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture & Community Design from the University of San Francisco, complemented by a study abroad program in Architecture & Planning at Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetem.
