Kurt Mayer

Kurt Mayer is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in the waste management and distribution sectors. Currently, Kurt serves as the West Regional Controller at Casella Waste Systems, Inc. since October 2019. Prior to this role, Kurt held the position of Sr. Controller at Good Spirits Distributing and amassed significant experience at Republic Services Inc, where roles included Division Controller and Area Controller, managing large teams and driving business growth. Kurt began a career in waste management with Waste Management, progressing from General Manager Trainee to Division President and General Manager. Early professional experience includes auditing positions at Earnst and Whinney and Peat Marwick. Kurt holds a degree in Accounting from Northern Arizona University.
