Alexandra Kreitman

Alexandra Kreitman, DNP, PMHNP-BC, currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Nursing in the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Doctor of Nursing Practice Program at Columbia University School of Nursing since January 2021. Additionally, Alexandra works as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at the Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services (CASES) since November 2021, and previously held a position at ICL from August 2018 to November 2021, providing mental health services across various settings including outpatient clinics and homeless shelters. Alexandra's early career included roles as a psychiatric nurse practitioner intern at the Service Program for Older People and multiple student nurse internships at notable institutions including New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Mount Sinai Health System. Alexandra earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New York University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fordham University.
