Christine Calpin started their work experience as an Analyst in Social Legislation at the Congressional Research Service in 1998. Christine then worked as a Professional Staff at the U.S. House Committee on Ways and Means starting in 2003. In 2007, they joined the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as an Associate Director for the Child Care Bureau. In 2008, they became an Associate Commissioner for the Children's Bureau at HHS. From 2009 to 2011, they were self-employed as an Independent Consultant. Since 2011, they have been working as the Managing Director of Public Policy at Casey Family Programs.
Christine Calpin has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Chatham University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Public Policy Analysis at the University of Rochester from 1996 to 1998.
