Andrei Oprea is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in architecture and development roles across various companies. As the Chief Technology Officer at Cashwave since January 2022 and previously serving as Interim CTO, Andrei has led technological innovations. Prior roles include Senior Architecture Consultant at Avantage, Chief Architect at Dye & Durham Corporation, and Technical Lead/Solution Architect positions at both Teranet Inc. and Interac Association | Acxsys Corporation. Andrei's early career features significant positions such as Senior J2EE Developer/Architect at Inquent Technologies and Senior Developer / Team Lead at IBM Canada. Andrei holds a degree in Electronics & Telecommunications from Universitatea „Politehnica” din Timișoara, earned between 1991 and 1996.
