Richard Paris has a diverse work experience in various security and compliance roles. Richard started their career in 1993 as an Identification & Compliance Officer at the Canada Revenue Agency. From 1994 to 2001, they worked as a Security Manager at the Royal Ontario Museum. In 2001, they joined Niagara Casinos as the Director of Security. In 2007, they became the President of the Gaming Security Professionals of Canada and later served as the Vice President. Since 2015, they have been working as a Security & Compliance Representative for the Canadian Football League.
Richard Paris has a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Public Policy from the University of Toronto, which they obtained from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy at the same university from 1991 to 1996. Additionally, Richard attended Seneca Polytechnic from 1989 to 1991, where they pursued Law Enforcement Investigation and Interviewing.
