Jason Mitchell

Jason Mitchell currently serves as an Engineering Technician for Cass County since August 2023. Previously, Jason held the position of Assistant to the Engineer at Mills County, Iowa, from February 2019 to August 2023. Prior experiences include working as a Design Detailer and Rail Bridge Designer intern at Olsson Associates from February to November 2018, and as a Finish Designer intern for the Iowa Department of Transportation focused on Bridges and Structures from May 2017 to February 2018. Jason began a career in technical roles as a Machine Operator at MAHLE from July 2014 to October 2016 and as a Technician at J & B Amusement from February 2003 to July 2014. Jason holds an Associate of Applied Science in Design Technology with a focus on CAD/CADD Drafting and/or Design Technology/Technician from Iowa Western Community College, completed between 2016 and 2018.
