Melia Cothran has a diverse and extensive work experience. Melia started their career in 1996 at Misco Shawnee as an Assistant Product Manager, where they worked until 2001. Following that, they joined the University of Phoenix as an Enrollment Counselor for a short period of time. In 2002, they became the Market Manager at 8minuteDating.com, where they successfully launched the company in the St. Louis market and gained media attention. Melia then moved on to CSI Leasing in 2002 and served as a Marketing Manager until 2009. During their time there, they authored various documents, such as white papers and case studies, and created an internal communications function. Since 2009, Melia has been working at Cass Information Systems in various roles. Melia initially served as a Digital Marketing Manager, handling inbound and outbound lead generation, content, CRM, and martech system integrations. Currently, they are the Marketing Manager in the Transportation Information Services division and will soon transition into the role of Director of Marketing. Throughout their career, Melia has demonstrated proficiency in various marketing tools and platforms, such as HubSpot, Salesforce.com, Outreach, and Semrush.
Melia Cothran completed their primary education at Mater Dei High School from 1988 to 1992. Melia then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Management at Quincy University from 1992 to 1996. Following that, Melia pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business at the St. Louis University John Cook School of Business from 1999 to 2001.
