Michael Shaw

Michael Shaw is a seasoned manufacturing engineer currently employed at CASSAVANT MACHINING, INC. since June 2021, specializing in aerospace component tooling and manufacturing methods. Prior experience includes roles as a Mechanical Engineering Technician III at SDI System Dynamics International, Inc. and Phoenix Defense, LLC., where Michael led design efforts for the US Air Force F-35 Egress Procedures Trainer program. Michael also founded Boomstick Armory LLC, focusing on the design of firearms and processing equipment, and has a background in research and development, optimizing ammunition manufacturing processes at ASYM Precision Ammunition. Michael’s career started with the United States Marine Corps, where duties included managing sensitive materials. Michael holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Mechanical Drafting and CAD from Glendale Community College, complemented by studies at Metropolitan State University of Denver and Arapahoe Community College.
