Joe Ranvestel

Joe Ranvestel is an associate attorney is the firm's Chicago office. Joe focuses his practice on a wide range of civil litigation defense and has extensive experience handling civil discovery matters, evidentiary hearings, motion practice, and more. He works with his clients on all aspects of litigation, including pre-trial matters, trial practice, and appellate practice as needed.

Prior to joining Cassiday, Joe worked as an Assistant Public Defender for Winnebago County, IL where he gained valuable litigation skills in the areas of motion practice, case management with both clients and external stake holders, and trial practice. Joe's areas of interest include civil rights law and healthcare law, including correctional healthcare.

Joe earned his J.D. from Northern Illinois University where he was a member of the Northern Illinois University Law Review as an Associate Editor. Mr. Ranvestel is a member of several legal and professional organizations including the Illinois State Bar Association. Mr. Ranvestel is a member of the Illinois bar and has General Admission privileges in the Northern District of Illinois courts.
