Kirsten Thayer

Kirsten Thayer has a strong background in product management and leadership. Kirsten currently holds the position of VP and Head of Product - Film, TV & Streaming at Cast & Crew. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Coach at Product Rebels, where they helped companies establish innovation teams and practices. Kirsten also held roles at BlackLine as a Sr. Director and Director of Product Management, where they focused on strategic planning, standardizing product approaches, and aligning teams. Additionally, they served as a Sr. Director of Product Management at TrueCar, Inc., tackling critical issues and implementing qualitative innovation methods. Kirsten's earlier experience includes positions as Head of Product at Hixme, Director of User Experience and Product Management at Entertainment Partners, and Sr. Product Manager at Final Draft, a Cast & Crew Company. Kirsten began their career as a Product Manager at Baseline and Studio System.

Kirsten Thayer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Penn State University. Kirsten also obtained a Certificate in Specialization in Design Thinking and Innovation from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Additionally, they are a Certified Facilitator and Practitioner of Human Centered Design from LUMA Institute and a Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance.
