Jessica Benz

Jessica Benz is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and reading specialization. Currently a Teacher and Reading Specialist at Natomas Charter School since June 2016, Jessica manages a self-contained classroom for young children while fostering positive relationships within the school community. Alongside this role, Jessica operates as a Studio Teacher, overseeing the welfare of minors in the entertainment industry, and has worked as a non-union Actor since 2010, featuring in commercials and television productions. Additionally, Jessica serves as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor for the Department of English at Los Rios Community College District. Jessica's previous roles include teaching and serving as a Reading Resource Teacher, where targeted reading instruction was provided to underperforming students. Jessica holds a Master of Education in Language and Literacy from California State University-Sacramento and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies - Elementary Education from Humboldt State University, alongside several teaching credentials and continuing education courses.
