Charly Darnis has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2017, they worked as an Analyst intern at the African Development Bank Group in the Department of Climate Change & Green Growth. In 2018, they continued their internship at the same organization as a Consultant intern. The following year, in 2019, Charly founded two companies: Ecoholodge, an eco-responsible hotel focused on local development and community inclusion, and Coho, a venture that specializes in an undisclosed area. They successfully managed Ecoholodge, overseeing a team of 35 individuals and handling all aspects of the project until January 2023. In 2020, Charly returned to the African Development Bank Group as a Junior Consultant in Transport & Infrastructures Operations. From 2021 to 2022, they served as an Operation Manager at Zapp, where they were responsible for creating and implementing operational KPIs, managing operations and expansion, and improving data processes. In 2022, Charly joined Kemmrod as the Deputy General Manager, and within a year, they were promoted to Director of Operations, and subsequently to General Manager. Their current position, as of July 2023, is Head of Operations at CASTALIE.
Charly Darnis has a Master's degree in The Paris school of international affairs from Sciences Po. They also have a Master's degree in Etudes comparatives du développement from EHESS - Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales. In addition, they have a Master's degree in Géographie du développement from Sorbonne University and a Licence in Droit / Géographie from University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne. They also completed Classes préparatoires at CPGE Lycée Camille Julian.
