Jason Gambrell

Jason Gambrell is an experienced professional in the distilling industry, currently serving as the Research and Development Manager and Distillery Manager at Castle & Key Distillery since April 2017. Responsibilities include managing operations from grain receipt to spirit distillation for whiskey, gin, and vodka, as well as collaborating on process improvements and new product development. Previously, Jason held roles as Distillery Supervisor and Distillery Shift Lead, overseeing daily operations and team member development. Earlier experience at Hartfield and Company included duties as a Distiller, focusing on production processes for various spirits. Jason's career began in the hospitality sector as a Bartender and includes a prior role as a Mathematics Teacher. Jason holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Teacher Education from Eastern Kentucky University.
