Jill McLean

Jill McLean is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community program design and capacity building, currently serving as Senior Vice President at Castlemain, focusing on Indigenous nations across Canada. Previously, Jill held the position of Vice President of Social Change at Argyle, where management of the McLean Indian Day School Community Support Program emphasized culturally safe and trauma-informed support for claimants. Over a career spanning multiple organizations, including ChangeMakers, Legal Aid Manitoba, and the United Way of Winnipeg, Jill has developed expertise in behavior change, community mobilization in Northern Canada, and social research. Academically, Jill holds a Master of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sociology, both from the University of Manitoba.
