Zhang Yao

Zhang Yao serves as the VP of Operations at Castlery, an online furniture brand known for its quality designs and global retail presence, since June 2019. Prior to this role, Zhang held multiple positions at RedMart from January 2014 to December 2018, including Senior Manager of Business Transformation and Senior Manager of Marketplace Technology, where significant contributions were made to the development of automated fulfillment systems and third-party seller portals. Zhang's career began at Manhattan Associates as a Senior Consultant, managing implementations of supply chain software solutions across various Asian markets. Zhang holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MSc in Supply Chain Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MSc in Industrial and Systems Engineering from both the Georgia Institute of Technology and the National University of Singapore. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Economics was earned from Xiamen University.
