Eriq Gassé is an Emergency Medical Technician at Cataldo Ambulance Service Inc. since October 2021, actively involved in BLS emergency medicine within the Greater Boston 911 system. Gassé serves as a member of the 988 Commission under the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services, focusing on implementing suicide prevention and behavioral health crisis systems. Previously, Gassé worked at Brewster Ambulance Service and Massachusetts General Hospital as a Research Assistant, leading data transcription and studies on empathy in patients with schizophrenia. Additional experiences include roles as Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scouts of America, Resident Assistant and Orientation Leader at the University of Massachusetts Boston, and positions in customer service and coaching. Gassé is currently pursuing a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Midwestern University, following a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UMass Boston.
