Delara Motlagh

Delara Motlagh has a strong work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Delara currently works as the Vice President of Global Cell Therapy at Catalent Pharma Solutions. Previously, they held positions at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies, including SVP and General Manager of Cell Therapy, Vice President of Cell Therapy Technologies, and Global Marketing Director of Cell Therapy Technologies. During their time at Terumo, they successfully revitalized the Cell Therapy Technologies business, developed a new business strategy and marketing plan, and grew revenue by integrating VOC. Prior to Terumo, Delara worked at Baxter International Inc., where they served as the Director of Global Marketing for PD Therapy Products, Group Marketing Manager, Senior Manager of a start-up business incubator, Research Scientist II, and Associate Research Scientist. In these roles, they achieved significant accomplishments such as transitioning the market to a new platform, leading the global commercial launch of a new therapy, securing regulatory approvals, and driving the company's commercial strategy. Delara's expertise lies in cell therapy, marketing strategy, business development, and stem cell research.

Delara Motlagh has an Executive MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Delara also holds a PhD in Physiology & Biophysics and an MS in Biological Sciences from the University of Illinois Chicago. For their undergraduate studies, they obtained a BS in Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
